SPE Conference

Accelerating the transition to a better energy future

Our 2023 conference theme “Securing sustainable and equitable energy for the next 50 years and beyond” tied closely with our four key themes of Energy Security, Energy Transition, Innovative Technology and Future Talent.

Created by a specialist committee of industry thought leaders, including peer-reviewed technical abstracts, the conference is truly “by the industry, for the industry”.

That’s why this is the leading offshore energy event in Europe, as well as being the largest free-to-attend conference dedicated to the offshore energy community.

Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) CEO, David Whitehouse will chair the conference and executive committee for SPE Offshore Europe 2025 (OE25) being held at P&J Live, Aberdeen from 2-5 September 2025.

SPE Offshore Europe remains a key fixture for our collaborative, innovative industry and I’m pleased to take on the role of chair. The conference shines a spotlight on the UK sector and its excellent people to a global audience. As we consider the national and global challenges facing us, we must make sure everyone understands the enormous potential benefits of a transition led by integrated homegrown energies – oil, gas, hydrogen and wind and more.
