DAVID LATIN
CEO, Serica Energy
Dave Latin is Chair of Serica Energy and a Non-Executive Director of Aker BP. With more than 35 years’ international experience in the energy industry, he has held senior leadership positions with BP and OMV, including CEO and Chair of OMV Norway, and Chair of OMV UK.
A geologist and reservoir engineer at the start of his career, Dave has worked across subsurface, operations, major projects, M&A, technology, corporate strategy and governance in a range of international leadership roles. His experience spans operations, major developments and projects in the UK and Norway, together with experience in private equity investing and venture-backed technology companies. He is a strong advocate for home-grown energy, security of supply and the application of digital technology to improve performance, efficiency and value creation in upstream oil and gas.
Dave holds a PhD in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Edinburgh and is both a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors.

YANIV FRIEDMAN
Executive Chairman, Ithaca Energy
Yaniv Friedman joined Ithaca Energy in July 2024 as Executive Chairman. He has significant global executive experience working in the energy and infrastructure sectors and brings considerable strategic, commercial, public company and M&A expertise. Yaniv previously held the role of CEO of Modiin Energy LP, an oil and gas partnership listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with operations, including development projects in the US as well as exploration offshore in Israel. Prior to this, Yaniv served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NewMed Energy LP, Israel’s leading energy partnership in the exploration, development, production and sale of natural gas. Yaniv has held other senior executive positions in public and private energy companies.
GORDON BALLARD
Director of the OPITO Group (and Chairman of OPITO International)
Gordon Ballard is a Director of the OPITO Group (and Chairman of OPITO International), the global, not-for-profit, safety and skills body for the energy industry.
Previously he was the Executive Director of the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP). Gordon joined the Association in 2016 after spending 34 years working with oilfield services company, Schlumberger, on four continents in a variety of operational and management roles.
He became Schlumberger’s UK Chairman in 2005. He has also served as Chairman of the UK Government’s Oil and Gas Industry Council and was co-Chairman of the industry trade association, Oil & Gas UK and Step Change in Safety.
Gordon graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering and with a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot‐Watt University.
He also holds honorary doctorates from Heriot-Watt and Robert Gordon Universities.
EDNA MICHELLE BISSO BI MBA
Head of Reservoir Services, Harbour Energy
Edna Michelle Bisso Bi Mba is the head of reservoir services at the technology and service centre of Harbour Energy. She manages a team of specialists, overseeing advanced core analysis, core flooding, and geoscience projects. Her ability to lead diverse teams and deliver strategic results demonstrates the qualities required to cultivate an environment where different perspectives are welcome and utilized as a competitive advantage.
With more than 12 years of professional experience, she has held various roles, including simulation and operations reservoir engineer. She combines strategic thinking, inclusivity, and passion for the energy profession. She champions diversity and gender equality as global chair of the Gender Balance Network of Harbour Energy, proving ability to influence beyond authority, communicate with clarity, and empower others.
Since joining SPE in 2012, she has held numerous leadership roles at the local, regional, and international levels, including section chairperson, treasurer, young professionals chair, and conference technical and executive committee member. In 2024, she received the SPE Giovanni Paccaloni Young Professional Service Award.
She holds a BS degree in energy and raw materials, an MS degree in petroleum engineering from the Technical University Clausthal, and an MS in reservoir engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure de Géologie.
DR. PAULA DOYLE
Chief Digital Officer at Aker BP
Dr. Paula Doyle is Chief Digital Officer at Aker BP and a member of its Executive Management Team, where she leads the company's digital technology and AI agenda. Since 2022 she has driven Aker BP's ambition to become the world's first AI-native E&P company. She joined from Cognite, where she was SVP of Sales and Marketing, and previously held roles with ABB and Siemens across Norway and the Middle East. She holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
CHARLES FORTE
Consultant
Charles has a career spanning 46 years, with experience at the UK Ministry of Defence as the Director General CDIO, in Oil & Gas with BP as Deputy Group CIO, as CEO of Internal IT Services at Prudential, as interim CIO at Thames-Water and as an independent consultant
supporting multiple businesses. He is a leader with unique cross-industry, government and international experience who has consistently demonstrated a track record leading business performance improvements from the application of leading-edge Digital, Data and AI in large scale, complex environments and in leading the wider business change needed to ensure success. With his recent experience in Defence, working with Allies, he has a keen understanding of today’s cyber risk and business resilience imperatives driven by the current geo-political and technology context.
IRENE BREKNE HAMRE
Managing Director North Sea GeoZone, OFSE
Irene is the Managing Director of North Sea Geozone for Baker Hughes, Oil field Services and Equipment. She has 20 years of industry experience, all of it with Baker Hughes and has held several key positions in business leadership, commercial management, sales, HSE and operations across Baker Hughes globally.
Irene holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Stavanger.
AMY MILLER
Co-Founder and CEO of PRAGMA
Amy Miller is the Co-Founder and CEO of PRAGMA, an independent intelligence and networking platform connecting senior leaders across the global energy industry through invitation-only events, executive roundtables and market intelligence. With a particular focus on increasing investment across the oil and gas sector, PRAGMA provides a trusted environment for leaders to discuss the strategic, commercial and financial issues shaping the future of energy.
With more than 20 years' experience in the energy sector, Amy has built a reputation for bringing together influential decision-makers and creating relationships that lead to meaningful commercial outcomes. A passionate advocate for the continued role of oil and gas in the global energy mix, she helps operators, investors and technology companies navigate industry change, identify opportunities and build strategic partnerships.
Before founding PRAGMA, Amy spent over a decade at Energy Council, a Blackstone portfolio company, developing internationally recognised conferences and executive forums for senior energy executives.
SARAH MOORE
Chief Executive Officer, Peterson Energies
Sarah Moore is the Chief Executive Officer of Peterson Energies, a global leader in logistics, technology, and supply chain solutions for the energy industry.
Sarah has been instrumental in reshaping offshore logistics as a strategic lever in the energy value chain. Innovation, digitalisation, and a relentless focus on safety and sustainability sit at the heart of Peterson’s integrated offering which optimises operations, enhances visibility and control, and delivers trusted, cost-effective, and agile services to its customers.
Sarah also serves as executive board member and regional Chair within Royal Peterson and Control Union. She holds several non-executive positions, including with Opportunity North East, Aberdeen University Development Trust SCIO, and OEUK. She also serves as industry co-chair for the NSTA’s North Sea Transition Forum’s Supply Chain & Exports Taskforce.
NICOLAS PAYER
Managing Director of NEO NEXT+ ENERGY E&P UK Ltd
Nicolas Payer is Managing Director of NEO NEXT+ ENERGY E&P UK Ltd, created following the merger of NEO NEXT and TotalEnergies E&P UK in March 2026. He previously served as Managing Director of TotalEnergies E&P UK and UK Country Chair for TotalEnergies, having been appointed in January 2023.
Nicolas joined the Total Group in 1991 and has more than 30 years' experience in the energy industry. During his career he has held a variety of technical, operational and leadership roles across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, including assignments in France, Angola and Indonesia. He subsequently served as Managing Director of Total ABK in Abu Dhabi and Managing Director of Total E&P Côte d'Ivoire.
In 2014, Nicolas was appointed Vice President, Contracts and Procurement for Total's Exploration & Production business, before becoming Vice President and later President of Global Procurement, with responsibility for procurement activities across the TotalEnergies group.
Nicolas is a graduate of CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay, with a degree in electrical engineering, and holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from IFP School.
DORIS REITER
Senior Vice President, Europe and Atlantic Africa
Doris Reiter is Senior Vice President (SVP) for bp’s Europe and Atlantic Africa region, a role she assumed in July 2026.
Building on four years leading bp’s North Sea business - as the first female to hold the SVP role - her expanded remit brings together a significant and distinctive portfolio spanning the North Sea, Mauritania and Senegal, Namibia, bp’s interests in the Teesside low carbon projects, and partnerships including Aker BP and Azule.
Doris has built a global career with bp spanning 28 years, working across the Gulf of America, Angola and the North Sea in a range of engineering and technical leadership roles.
She serves as Operator and Developer Chair on the Offshore Energies UK board and is a director on the boards of BP Exploration Operating Company Limited and Aker BP. She is also a member of bp’s Upstream leadership team.
A native of Austria and a reservoir engineer by background, Doris holds an MSc equivalent in chemical and mechanical engineering from the University of Leoben and a PhD in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
DAVID WHITEHOUSE
CEO, OEUK
As an industry leader with 30 years of experience, David Whitehouse is a longstanding champion of OEUK, the leading trade association for the UK’s integrating offshore energies industry. Its membership includes over 400 organisations with an interest in offshore oil, gas, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and wind.
Working together with its members, OEUK is a driving force supporting the UK in ensuring security of energy supply while helping to meet its net zero ambitions. It works on behalf of the sector and its members to inform understanding with facts, evidence and data, engage on a range of key issues and support the broader value of this industry in a changing energy landscape.
David is respected across the sector for his strategic and hands-on leadership in the North Sea and around the world, including the USA, Netherlands and Philippines. His passion for energy, engineering and innovation is built on a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from Cambridge University and a first-class degree in Chemistry from Manchester University. He has started a Masters in Renewable Engineering at the University of Aberdeen, an area of key growth and interest for OEUK and its members.
ANDERS WITTERMANN
Independent oil & gas management consultant
Anders Wittemann is an independent E&P strategy and business development consultant with Wittemann E&P Consulting since 2011. Anders was a founding partner with Rystad Energy AS 2005-2011, a management consultant with McKinsey & Co 1998-2005 and prior to that a Petroleum Engineer with Shell International E&P 1992-1996. Anders has an MBA degree from INSEAD, France, 1997, and an M.Eng in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London, 1991 and the Norwegian Institute of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway (NTNU).
Wittemann currently works with E&P clients mainly in Norway on strategy, portfolio and business development, delivers independent industry research and analysis on portfolio and industry trends, provides expert opinions and regularly presents at industry conferences.
