Where is it?

With its proximity to the North Sea Production Hub, Aberdeen in Scotland has been the perfect location for SPE Offshore Europe for nearly 50 years, and in 2019 we moved to the new state-of-the-art venue, P&J Live.

Aberdeen is the energy capital of Europe and has cemented itself as a leading centre of research and development for subsea technology and expertise. Production techniques and operations technologies developed in Aberdeen are used in oil and gas fields all over the world, setting a global standard.

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a not-for-profit professional association whose more than 140,600 members in 144 countries are engaged in oil and gas exploration and production. SPE is a key resource for technical knowledge providing opportunities to exchange information at in-person and online events and training courses, publications, and other resources.

Decarbonising the events industry, together

At RX, we are serious about sustainability. We are founding members of the Net Zero Carbon Events pledge to make our company, our shows and the wider events industry net zero. We commit to being Net Zero by 2040 and to make a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

In 2023 we will publish our pathway to net zero, setting out our reduction strategy with key milestones for all our shows. Given the complex nature of our supply chain and the emissions associated with a show, it is only by working together as an industry that we will be able to reduce our impact. We are building a company of net zero heroes to take action and ensure a sustainable future
