Integrated Technologies

  • Keynote Programme Session: Integrated Technologies

The application of new technology is an immovable force across all industries, as companies seek to differentiate and deliver more efficient customer or shareholder offerings. Integrating technologies from different platforms, and sourced through varied suppliers, is a key element of this movement. Increasingly, oil and gas operators and suppliers are investing in this space, but the question remains – are we keeping pace with other adjacent sectors (such as the medical sector for example)? Also, why is there such a large variance in technology uptake, and are we realising the benefits that we expect from this level of investment?

Our keynote speakers have been selected to give us insight into industry integrated technologies through differing lenses. Firstly, we take the views of a key industry consultant on how the oil and gas sector is performing relative to others. We then hear directly from a completely separate high-risk sector. We also take insight from a large IOC who has invested heavily in integrated technologies and shows the significant benefits that have been delivered. Our last speaker has been selected to show the power of what is possible, which most of us can hardly yet imagine.
