ENGINEERING WHERE IT MATTERS, UK ENGINEERING COMPANY RESPOND TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET BY OPENING NEW USA OFFICE
Leicester, England, 24/03/2011 — After continued success and growth in providing engineered polymer solutions to the Offshore, Oil & Gas industry, Leicester based Nylacast opened a new office located in Houston, Texas, USA, which will be lead by Flavio Olivarez recognized as an subject matter expert within the Offshore, Oil & Gas Industry.
During 2010, Nylacast renowned for being “intuitively synchronized” to their customers needs have been working hard to ensure their customers are receiving the value added service where ever they are in the world. After great successes in 2010 and in order to service the North America and Mexico, Nylacast have now investing in new offices in Houston, Texas in a continual growth and improvement effort to offer their first class solutions to its customers in the Oil and Gas sector. This forms part of the company strategy and being intuitively synchronised to our customers needs, Nylacast have responded to recent customer and market demands to be in place to provide our world leading solutions as required.
The new Houston office allows Nylacast to continue providing solutions and creating value for our customers in this industry, being located in the hub of the Offshore, Oil & Gas industry it allows Nylacast to interact on a personal level with our customers and to be on hand to provide advice and solutions from our experienced engineers. Our partners in industry including major blue chip companies such as BP, Shell and Total will now be seeing more and more of Nylacast in our effort to make a real difference to the industry.
The new facility and support service will be launched during Subsea 2011 this year where Nylacast will be showcasing some our latest offshore developments and demonstrating how our knowledge of advanced polymers can add significant benefit to our customers projects.
The new Nylacast Houston office will be lead by Flavio Olivarez who has served in various engineering and management roles in the Petrochemical, Aluminium, Construction, Oil, Gas and Offshore industries over the past 30 years. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and has held that distinction for more than 25 years.
Mr. Olivarez has designed modified Ring Furnace systems and holds a US Patent for improvements to Anode Furnaces in the Aluminium industry. Through his career he has held several business positions as well; AIIR Board of Directors, National Business Advisory Council and The National Federation of Independent Businessmen.
Mr. Olivarez has extensive experience in manufacturing, geotechnical, infrastructure, technical chemical projects, engineering management, and as a professional project manager has coordinated numerous domestic and international multi million pound projects.
