Title High Efficiency Jack-ups Description A large number of the innovative features introduced on the world’s largest and most advanced ultra harsh environment jack-up rigs, MÆRSK INNOVATOR and MÆRSK INSPIRER, have been implemented in the design of our four R-class 350 ft high efficiency jack-up rigs. These features are targeted at minimising non-productive time during operation. Drilling efficiency and uptime are maximised due to off-line activities, drilling with fourables and large setback. Title XL Enhanced Description Maersk Drilling has placed the order for what will be the world’s largest and most advanced Harsh Environment Jack-ups built to date; the XL Enhanced. The rigs will be constructed by Keppel FELS in Singapore with delivery in 4Q 2013 and 3Q 2014 respectively. With a number of enhanced features the rigs especially stand out within size, efficiency, automation and safety. The automation, the capacities and the size will create two rigs that are more efficient, more consistent and safer than any other jack-up rig in the market.
